Responsibilities Create (based on customer and internal priority direction) and maintain the product backlog Prioritize and sequence the product backlog Drive the elaboration of Epics, Themes and Features into sufficiently detailed (acceptance criteria) and actionable user stories that are granular enough to be achieved in a single sprint Collaborate across backlogs with other Product Owner(s) Convey the Vision and Goals at the beginning of every Release and Sprint Represent the customer and interface with the customer and/or customer proxies (Sales, Support, Product Marketing) Plan and drive Sprint Planning Meetings (Be ready with up to two sprint's worth of actionable user stories at each Sprint Planning Meeting) Participate in the daily Scrums and Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives; make yourself consitently available to the scrum team in a timely manner to answer questions, and clarify stories and acceptance criteria Inspect and verify each user story as it's completed (with a short turnaround to keep the scrum team moving!) Communicate status to those outside the team Help triage and prioritize bug reports and feature requests as they come in from users
Skills & Background SaaS product experience At least one of: Demand Generation, Email Marketing, CRM (SFA), Lead Capture domain expertise Salesforce.com-specific CRM/SFA expertise is a bonus Startup/Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and drive Understanding of Scrum/Agile principles and how they relate to the product owner Scrum Product Owner Certification is a plus Extremely strong desire to collaborate and communicate
