Stand-Out Stats

We get it — time is of the essence, and not everyone can dedicate a chunk of their schedule to comb through the series of research, insight reports and latest trends that were released throughout February. Here’s what you need to know:

The Need For Technology, Sales Enablement & Training Improvements

As the world just passes the 1-year mark of the Covid-19 pandemic, Revenue Collective and Mindtickle’s new State of Remote Readiness Report indicates that companies must define and help internal teams understand the difference between sales readiness, enablement and training. The report found that48% of revenue leaders surveyed actually couldn’t explain the differences. Additionally, the importance of curating a fully integrated tech stack was highlighted, as 76% of revenue leaders said they’re looking at point solutions to solve individual problems rather than one platform that would cover most issues.

Continued Disconnect Between Sales & Marketing Teams Contributes To Misalignment

In Copper and Outfunnel’s Revenue Marketing Report, nearly 50% of sales and marketing professionals indicated that they don’t feel their teams are aligned. According to the report, this disconnect comes from a misunderstanding of responsibilities — 46% of marketers think that their sales team doesn’t understand what’s important to the marketing team, while 31% of salespeople think the same.
