Campaign Monitor Takes On Enterprise Email Marketing With Sailthru, Liveclicker Acquisitions

Published: January 16, 2019

Campaign Monitor, an email marketing and automation provider owned by CM Group, announced it has acquired Sailthru, an experience management platform, and Liveclicker, a personalized email marketing solution, for an undisclosed amount. With these acquisitions, Campaign Monitor aims to expand its email marketing capabilities into the enterprise market, according to the company.

The acquisitions are expected to add roughly 540 customers and $60 million in revenue for Campaign Monitor. The news follows Campaign Monitor’s 2017 acquisitions of email marketing software providers Emma and Delivra.

“Sailthru and Liveclicker are extraordinary technologies capable of solving important marketing problems, and we will be making additional investments in the businesses to further accelerate their growth,” said Wellford Dillard, CEO of CM Group, in a statement. “Bringing these brands together makes it possible for us to provide marketers with the ideal solution for their needs as they navigate the complex and rapidly changing environments in which they operate.”

Campaign Monitor said the products and product roadmaps of both companies will remain in place and independent.
