Contently Acquires Docalytics To Optimize Customer Content Efforts

Published: February 19, 2016

Contently, a content marketing technology provider, has acquired marketing and sales analytics start-up Docalytics for an undisclosed amount. The acquisition will give Contently access to the Docalytics Insight Engine, a tracking and analytics software, which positions users to track, manage and optimize content production and performance.

These features will position Contently clients to generate and convert more leads, helping both sales and marketing teams tie revenue directly to content.

The Docalytics software integration will generate and convert more leads by providing other features, including:

  • The ability to track downloadable content;
  • Optimized lead capture forms; and
  • Integration capabilities for marketing automation, CRM and nurture platforms.

“Our acquisition of Docalytics changes that, giving marketers access to a whole new universe of data,” said Joe Coleman, CEO and Co-Founder of Contently. “It’s impossible to make smart content marketing decisions without granular data, and expanding the amount of tracked assets is an ongoing initiative for us. Our acquisition will bring immediate benefit to marketers, as well as to content owners across the enterprise.”
