Published: March 11, 2020

Relationship intelligence platform provider Affinity acquired Nudge.ai, a revenue intelligence platform designed to build relationships and grow sales. The transaction took place just months after Nudge.ai shut down.

Affinity will acquire the Nudge.ai technology, as well as the company’s intellectual property and most members of its product and engineering teams, according to the announcement. In addition, the acquisition will enable Affinity to accelerate its new relationship intelligence product geared towards sales teams.

In a statement to Demand Gen Report, Ray Zhou, CEO of Affinity, commented on the impact of the acquisition on current and future customers of both organizations. “Affinity customers will gain access to upcoming product enhancements by leveraging the Nudge.ai technology. Meanwhile, Nudge customers will get the opportunity to be fast-tracked on the Affinity beta product built for sales teams.”

Nudge.ai founders Paul Teshima and Steve Woods will join Affinity as advisors.  “At Nudge.ai, we are very proud of the platform we built to help sales professionals grow high-performance relationships, and we’re excited to join Affinity so that we can continue to deliver even more tools to help salespeople exceed,” said Teshima, Nudge.ai CEO and Co-founder, in a statement.
