Drift Pads Executive Team With 5 New Hires Across Sales, Marketing & Engineering

Published: January 14, 2019

Drift, a conversational marketing platform, has appointed five senior executives across its sales, marketing and engineering teams.

Kate Adams joins the company as Senior Director of Marketing. She comes from SmartBear with more than a decade of B2B marketing and customer experience under her belt. Robin Neviaser will serve as SVP of Marketing after a 13-year tenure at American Express. Mark Kilens will also join the marketing team as the VP of Content and Community. He comes from HubSpot, where he created and oversaw HubSpot Academy.

On the sales side, Jill Chiara will assume the role of VP of Enterprise Sales. She has more than two decades of sales experience, including time at Forrester and Crimson Hexagon. Finally, Melissa Leffler joins Drift as VP of Engineering. She has previously worked at companies such as Mautic, Carbon Black and Objective Logistics.

“As a marketer, I’ve seen first-hand the disconnect between how businesses are selling to customers and how their customers actually want to buy,” said Neviaser in a statement. “That’s why I’m so psyched to be at a company that is solving this problem with a product entirely based around the customer experience. I can’t wait to see the full potential of Drift and how it can transform businesses around the world.”
