Formstack Acquires QuickTapSurvey To Grow Data Capture Platform With Offline, Mobile Capabilities

Published: December 12, 2018

Formstack, an online form building Software as a Service, has acquired QuickTapSurvey, an offline survey app. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Formstack said in a statement that it plans to use the acquisition to create a best-in-class data capture platform with new offline and mobile capabilities from QuickTapSurvey. According to the company, QuickTapSurvey will continue to operate as a standalone product, but will include enhancements from the Formstack platform such as workflow automation and native integrations with Salesforce, MailChimp and more.

“Formstack customers will benefit greatly from the addition of QuickTapSurvey’s mobile-first engineering approach, which will bring new capabilities and institutional knowledge to the Formstack suite of mobile apps,” said Formstack CEO Christ Byers in a statement to Demand Gen Report. “We believe that this acquisition will give our customers an even more focused way to transform the way they collect data.”

The news follows Formstack’s 2017 acquisition of Fast Forms, a native form and survey builder. Through the addition of Fast Forms — now called Formstack for Salesforce — users are positioned to purchase a fully native service through the Salesforce AppExchange that integrates seamlessly with any Salesforce object.
