ZoomInfo Acquires RingLead To Combine, Cleanse & Route Disparate Data Sources

Published: September 9, 2021

ZoomInfo, a go-to-market (GTM) software provider, acquired RingLead, a data quality management platform, to enable companies to streamline and execute GTM motions at scale based on high-quality, actionable data.

RingLead’s platforms features a user-friendly, intuitive and codeless interface and the ability to merge data from multiple third-party providers. It allows companies to manage incomplete, inaccurate and inconsistent customer data that’s currently siloed in disconnected systems to enable real-team, automated and accurate lead routing.

These platform enhancements will help improve lead routing records, while further informing ZoomInfo’s contact preference registry and database. Additionally, this acquisition follows ZoomInfo’s recent merger with Chorus.ai, which saw the company integrate Chorus’s conversational marketing tools into its platform.

“A clean and unified view of the customer is absolutely critical for GTM teams — often the difference between winning and losing a sale,” said Henry Schuck, ZoomInfo Founder and CEO, in a statement. “The acquisition of RingLead allows our customers to marry ZoomInfo intelligence with other data sources to create a unified view of their customers and shorten the path from data to engagement. These are prerequisites for effective, data-driven automation. RingLead helps us take the next step in continuing to build a comprehensive, modern GTM platform where data and insights drive intelligent and automated orchestration.”
